Caramel Apple French toast

I made this for conference sunday. Verrry Yummmy!


1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
3 TBS corn Syrup
Boil together for 5 minutes. Pour into 9x13 inch pan
Sprinkle caramel with pecans if you like nuts. Slice 2 Granny Smith or Golden Delicious apples on top.
1 loaf french bread(you won't use the whole loaf) I used about 7 thick slices.

mix together 5 eggs and 3/4 cup milk pour evenly over bread. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon. Cover and refrigerate overnight. In morning bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
