Merry Christmas to ME
Mike surprised me with an early Christmas present. He was so excited, he just couldn't wait until Christmas. I couldn't believe he did this. I love nice hair care products, but can rarely afford them. So I make do with the usual stuff. So he went out and got all of these great products by a company called J-Life. If you have never tried their products you need too. They are new to the U.S. but have been in London for many years. One of my favorite products is the shine spray. You just spray it on like hairspray and it makes your hair very shiny. Their hairspray is awesome too, it is very light weight. They also give you a guide with there products describing the use for each one ( how many of us can remember what each product does). The thing that surprised me is that he got products for my hair type. So just a big shout out for J-Life and my wonderful husband. :)

Soup's On!
Everyone is always asking for this soup recipe so I thought I would post it. It makes a ton, so half it if you like.
Broccoli Cheese Soup
4 quarts water
12 cubes chicken bouillon
3 small packages frozen broccoli
3 cubes butter
1 ½ cups flour
16 oz cheese whiz
boil water and bouillon then add broccoli. Cook until tender. Melt butter then add flour. Slowly add water from broccoli until desired thickness. Slowly add cheese whiz to soup, don’t boil or it will curdle. Add broccoli and enjoy.

Christmas Poem
Found this great poem for Christmas.
The Night before Christmas for Moms
It was the night before Christmas, when all thru the abode only one creature was stirring, and she was cleaning the commode. The children were finally sleeping, all snug in their beds, while visions of Nintendo 64 and Barbie, flipped through their heads.
The dad was snoring in front of the TV, with a half-constructed bicycle on his knee. So only the mom heard the reindeer hooves clatter, which made her sigh, "Now what's the matter?"
With toilet bowl brush still clutched in her hand, she descended the stairs, and saw the old man. He was covered with ashes and soot, which fell with a shrug, "Oh great," muttered the mom, "Now I have to clean the rug."
"Ho-ho-ho!" cried Santa, "I'm glad you're awake. Your gift was especially difficult to make." "Thanks, Santa, but all I want is some time alone." "Exactly!", he chuckled, "I've made you a clone."
"A clone?" she asked, "What good is that? Run along, Santa, I've no time for chit-chat." The mother's twin; Same hair, same eyes, same double chin.
"She'll cook, she'll dust, she'll mop every mess. You'll relax, take it easy, watch The Young & the Restless." "Fantastic!" the mom cheered. "My dream come true! I'll shop. I'll read. I'll sleep a whole night through!"
From the room above, the youngest began to fret. "Mommy?! I'm scared...and wet." The clone replied, "I'm coming, sweetheart." "Hey," the mom smiled, "She knows her part."
The clone changed the small one, and hummed a tune, as she bundled the child, in a blanket cocoon. "You're the best mommy ever. I really love you." The clone smiled and sighed, "I love you too,"
The mom frowned and said, "Sorry Santa, no deal. That's my child's love, she's trying to steal." Smiling wisely Santa said, "To me it is clear," Only one loving mother, is needed here."
The mom kissed her child, and tucked her into bed. "Thank you Santa, for clearing my head. I sometimes forget, it won't be very long, when they'll be too old, for my cradle-song."
The clock on the mantle began to chime. Santa whispered to the clone, "It works every time." With the clone by his side Santa said, "Goodnight. Merry Christmas, Mom, you'll be all right

Fun Weekend
I thought I would give an update on our fun Thanksgiving weekend. My sister Lisa and her family came from California, it was so nice to see them again. The day after Thanksgiving we did our trip to the mall to see Santa which was alot of fun. If you don't want to wait in long lines and want one of the best Santa's go to Valley Fair Mall. He has areal beard and everything. Porter froze up like ralphy on Christmas story when he was asked what he wanted. Later while coloring the coloring book he recieved he asked are candy canes white and red or red and white? I am so excited for Christmas.
